Course Description
On this course, in year one participants will study modules including introduction to the travel and tourism industry; communicating with customers and colleagues; introduction to worldwide travel; leisure travel services; holiday destinations; airport and passengers; air fares and ticketing; In year two they will study the travel industry today; researching worldwide destinations; working with customers and colleagues; leisure organisational practice; leisure travel products and services; business organisational practice and business travel products and services. They will also undertake work experience, operation of a travel agency, industrial visits and special guest speakers will contribute to the programme.

Participants should be aged sixteen or over, a minimum of four GCSEs at grade C, including English language or a BTEC Level 2 qualification at merit grade and GCSE grade C English Language or communication key skill level 2.
