Course Description
This programme draws on research and expertise across media/communications, sociology, cultural and business studies, to provide a broad overview of the global and transnational developments of media industries and cultures. Topics covered: media and globalisation; the global media; transnational broadcasting worldwide and in Europe; geo-cultural markets; transnational corporate strategies. Students complete three core modules: transnational media and communication; international communications and democratisation; and information and communications.
Course Fees
Full time £4,700; part time £2,350 (These fees are correct for 2007 entry and are subject to change for 2008)

15000 word dissertation and 4000 word essay.
Entry Requirements
A first or second class honours degree in social science discipline but other relevant subjects or relevant work experience may also be acceptable.
