This programme is designed to provide students with the training required to work as a professional interpreter and/or translator in a variety of professional contexts; languages offered are French, German, and Spanish; students either work in both directions between English and 1 other language (strand a), or into English from 2 languages (strand b).
Core modules: applied professional skills for conference interpreters; translation practice 1; conference interpreting; translating and interpreting studies and the international context 1; translation practice 2; translating and interpreting studies and the international context 2; MSc dissertation; plus 2 optional modules.
