Research covers both investigation of specific toxicological problems and work on underlying mechanisms of toxicity; emphasis on collaborative, interdisciplinary research based on cell and molecular biology but covering wide range of science from chemistry to pathology; areas include: carcinogenesis; lung toxicity of fibres; toxicology of cancer chemotherapeutic agents; mechanisms of cell death; neurotoxicology; metabolism; immunotoxicity.
