BSc International Business Management
Study of management and business is combined with opportunities to develop understanding and insights into the complex range of business, social and cultural issues raised by tourism; management and business modules are studied in common with students taking our other undergraduate programmes; specialist modules introduce the issues and challenges raised by the operation, development and management of tourism in world economies and societies.Level 1: Core modules include: Management skills; accounting; tourism management; business of tourism; elective subjects are limited to languages which can be studied for extra credits.Level 2: Selection of elective modules in areas such as hospitality, business and retail; core modules in subjects such as business finance, tourism, leisure and society and tourism marketing; optional professional training year taken at the end of level 2.Level 3: Project; core modules in areas such as business strategy and e-tourism; electives include: hospitality; languages; retailing and business subjects.
