Course Description
Tangka painting is an ancient and rich tradition of sacred art. You will study sacred pictures of Buddhism ranging from Bodhisattva images to complex mandalas. Hands-on tuition on an individual level will be given, so that you will be able to complete an image for yourself. Some work out of class time will be needed to complete a painting. Artistic talent is not essential, just perseverance and a genuine interest. Please note that this is not a course in the Buddhist religion, but aspects of it may be covered in relation to its art.

Childcare facilities are available on site. Early booking of sessions is strongly recommended due to high demand of limited places.
