Course Description
This course explores the nature and scope of three dimensional design. You will learn about the design process through developing your visual awareness, practical skills, history and theory of design and professional studies. The course includes practical projects in ceramics, furniture, industrial, interior and theatre design.
Assessment method
The course is validated by Edexcel and is subject to their assessment and moderation procedures. Projects and course work are evaluated on a continuous basis with formal assessment at regular intervals. You will receive regular feedback on your performance throughout the course
Entry Requirements
A good portfolio, plus one of the following: at least Grade C in 4 GCSEs together with a suitable art & design portfolio. Mature candidates with relevant experience are also welcome to apply.
