Course Description
This is a practical based training to gain skills, competences and theoretical knowledge required to gain a qualification as a make-up artiste in the media. Progression is to HND courses.

Assessment method
This course carries compulsory external examinations.To ensure progression learners will be required to provide a sufficient client base to meet the demands of their qualification.

Entry Requirements
There are no formal academic requirements but it is anticipated that applicants will have a record of GCSE achievement, Employability Skills achievement at Level 2or equivalent, a qualification in cosmetic make-up or hairdressing would be desirable but not essential. An art/photography background would be desirable but not essential.
