Course Description
This one year course offers students a thorough grounding in period costume interpretation and techniques. Students will research a given period and develop ideas for a complete outfit, starting with a boned corset, then crinoline/panier/bustle and chemise, petticoat and skirt, to make authentic looking full costume. Previous sewing experience is essential- this is not for beginners.
