Rose Bruford College launches the UK’s only MA focussed specifically on creating theatre for young audiences. Whether you are a performer, director, writer, designer, producer, educator or community worker, and have a solid background in theatre disciplines, this programme aims to develop your existing skills and prepare you for a career in this growing and exciting vocational field. Working alongside our TYA creative partners−like London’s Unicorn Theatre (the UKs leading theatre for young audiences)−you will explore, through practice-based research, a range of theatrical techniques and issues that lead to creating theatre for audiences of all ages, but particularly children and young adults. Through investigating the international context and background of theatre for young audiences, you will develop the tools you need to reflect upon and further your personal artistic and academic practice.
