This degree focuses on the relationship between theory, knowledge of contexts and histories, with some practical experience; each year, students study a module that explores major ideas and developments that have influenced drama, theatre and performance; this strengthens work in practice-based modules, where they can study performing, devising, directing, scriptwriting, design and technical theatre.
Years 2 and 3: Specialist areas include: applied drama; studio theatre production; scriptwriting; theatre acting; or a dissertation.
