Have you ever listened to a voice on the radio, on tape or CD, reading a book or poem and thought I wish I could read like that?, Discover your hidden talents in our friendly, creative course and experience the joy and excitement of sharing the spoken word. In this supportive and inclusive course we will explore the rich world of spoken sound and discover the wealth and variety of meaning and colour to be found in our wonderful, often surprising language. Working as a group and in pairs, we will explore the mysteries and delights of the very best of literature, from Shakespeare through to contemporary colloquial writing, and discover the joy of reading aloud. NB: Students whose first language is not English will need to be fully fluent in the use of English, with a good standard of both spoken and written English.
