Course Description
We have over 30 years' experience of providing tuition for professional accountancy students at all levels. It emphasises areas such as auditing, finance and taxation. Small class sizes ensure you'll get individual attention. You'll be taught by qualified members of the major accounting bodies, who have extensive commercial experience. We're an ACCA 'Registered Provider'. You'll have full access to University facilities, including a modern, well equipped Learning Centre with a variety of study materials including some that are available remotely. 14 subjects must be passed (unless you're exempt from any). The nine subjects at Fundamentals Level are compulsory and are divided into 'Knowledge' and 'Skills' modules. The Professional Level is divided into 'Essentials' and 'Options' modules. The three essential papers are compulsory, and two of the four optional papers must be passed. Fundamentals Level - Knowledge module: Accountant in Business; Management Accounting; Financial Accounting; Fundamentals Level - Skills module: Corporate and Business; Law Performance; Management Taxation; Financial Reporting; Audit and Assurance; Financial Management; Professional Level - Essentials module: Professional Accountant Corporate Reporting Business Analysis Professional Level - Options module(Choose any two papers)Advanced; Financial Management; Advanced Performance Management; Advanced Taxation; Advanced Audit and Assurance
Entry Requirements
Normally 2 GCE A levels or equivalent, plus 3 GCSEs in different subjects including Maths and English. AAT and CAT members are exempt from the Knowledge module. Holders of relevant degrees and higher qualifications may be offered subject exemptions from the Fundamentals level. Students with relevant work experience may enter through a different route. Please contact the Programme Leader or ACCA for details. You must register with the Association and claim any exemptions by their published deadlines.
Venue Description
