Course Description
From the expulsion of the Hysksos rulers through to the last of the Ramesside kings, this course looks at life and death along the Nile at the height of Egypt's power and influence. This course reconstructs the political, social and economic history by analysing architecture, literature and art, including that of the Armarna Period. Students will also examine artefacts of Tutankhamun alongside the more humble objects of daily life.
