The Students' Union is the main venue for entertainment and events from live music and club nights to comedy and quizzes. Facilities include gyms on each of the main campuses, and numerous sports clubs and student societies.

Ealing has excellent shopping facilities, cinemas and a variety of restaurants, pubs, bars and clubs offering a wide range of entertainment. It is just 30 minutes on the underground from Central London, with its huge range of theatres, museums, cinemas and other entertainments. Reading is Berkshire's most vibrant and lively town, boasts a good nightlife, busy sports and social calendar and one of the best shopping centres in the South of England. Slough town centre offers an extensive range of big-name stores and independent shops as well as restaurants, pubs and a multi-screen cinema.
