Thames Valley University (TVU) has over 140 years experience in delivering education. It achieved university status in 1992 and is one of the largest institutions of its type in Europe. TVU is based on three main campuses: Ealing in West London, Reading and Slough in Berkshire. All campuses are within easy reach of London's Heathrow international airport and are served by excellent motorway and rail links. There are three London underground stations within easy walking distance of Ealing’s main campus.

TVU has been providing expert training to the business sector for almost 40 years, and has developed into one of the largest providers of management education and training in the southeast of England. The School of Tourism, Hospitality and Leisure, achieved ‘excellent’ status in the Quality Audit Agency's (QAA) most recent subject review. Both the prestigious Academy of Culinary Arts and the Craft Guild of Chefs, recognise the school as a 'Centre of Excellence, Quality and Innovation' in culinary arts. TVU's Health and Human Sciences faculty is the major provider of nursing and midwifery courses in the region and one of the largest providers in the country. The Faculty of the Arts offers groundbreaking courses in music, performance, media, art and design, attracting students from all over the world. The faculty has won industry awards and has forged close links with blue-chip organisations such as the BBC, Sony, Sky Television and Pinewood Studios to ensure that our courses meet the demands of employers.
