Course Description
The course consists of eight taught units and for the MSc major project. Seven of the course units cover a range of communication systems, networks and associated technologies, whilst the eighth provides training in research, planning and management. Subject studied in the seven specialist units includes: telecommunications; data communications; computer networks; distributed networks and internetworking; network protocols; advanced communications systems mobile radio communications; and the optical fibre communications.

A good honours degree in a computing/IT/numerate subject or an equivalent level.
