This course is designed for education and training professionals who use technology to enhance teaching and learning; this includes professionals from an expanding and diverse group, such as secondary and primary school teachers, head teachers, lecturers and staff from vocational and higher education; e-learning and multimedia developers in education, business and industry, media companies, and learning solutions; staff and middle management from learning departments in sectors such as healthcare, IT, the police force, the armed forces and consultancies; the course examines the key strands of technology-enhanced learning: applications and environments; innovation and change: managing and leading innovation and change in work settings; students develop their knowledge and expertise of technology-enhanced learning; understanding of the social, organisational and cultural factors that influence its effectiveness; change management skills; ability to implement new technologies in the workplace, and educational research skills.
