This is an initial teaching City and Guilds award and is aimed at candidates who have not previously taught in the post 16 sector, or are in-service and require an introduction to teaching in Post-16 education, or in-service and would like to progress to the full teaching qualification leading to QTLS or ATLS status.
Candidates will need to demonstrate Level 2 ability in Literacy and Numeracy. A Basic Skills Numeracy and Literacy test will be given on entry to the course
