Course Description
The dark, brooding, majestic syrah grape of the Northern Rhone has long been held in reverent esteem, but this is just one facet of the Janus grape. Another is all vivacious bounce and irrepressible good humour; full of sunshine and warmth and labelled Shiraz. Botanically-speaking Syrah and Shiraz are one and the same grape, but oenologically they can and do produce very distinctly different wines. This tasting will illustrate the remarkable range of styles and the increasingly high quality of these wines from around the world.

Christie's Education is provided with teaching spaces including five lecture rooms, and has a museum room, student common room, and Learning Resources Centre which includes a computer room, slide library, periodicals and book library. It is a short walk from Oxford Street, and Warren Street and Great Portland Street tube stations.
