You can choose to study a programme from a wide range of qualifications at Swindon College, from Higher National Diplomas, Degrees, Foundation Degrees, to Masters. Swindon College works in partnership with the prestigious University of Bath in validating its degree and postgraduate programmes. The college offers a range of art and design, business, engineering and professional courses, while two of the courses offered by the School of Art - archaelogical illustration and sequential illustration - are unique to the college.

The College has a brand new purpose-built campus at North Star, which is close to the town centre and the railway station.

With a relatively small number of HE students, you will benefit from small class sizes and effective personal tutoring. It is a friendly and supportive environment.

College courses are flexible and many are available on a part-time basis.

What's on Offer
The main focus is the School of Art and Design, one of the oldest in the south-west of England. The School maintains the atmosphere of a traditional art school, placing strong emphasis on such courses as the BA (Hons) Drawing for Fine Art Practice, but is also at the forefront of contemporary developments such as BA in New Media and an HND in Interactive Media.

With two world heritage sites in Wiltshire, at Avebury and Stonehenge, specialist courses in archaeological illustration at BA (Hons) and MA level have been developed.

Another strong feature is the development of courses focussing on sequential illustration, as well as more traditional courses in illustration and graphic design.

Swindon College also has a range of HND courses in subjects such as engineering, business and computing, and has Centres of Vocational Excellence (CoVEs) in automotive manufacture and engineering, and retail.
