Course Description
This course covers units such as global issues for sustainable land management, crop production, livestock production, soil science, agro-ecology and hydrology, waste management, recycling and energy, principles of management, research methods, society and community, urban and per-urban sustainability, sustainable landscape management, ecology and conservation, research skills, sustainable livelihoods analysis , students seminar exercises.
Course Fees
£825 tuition fee for year 1; £550 tuition fee for year 2; £825 tuition fee for year 3
Assessment method
Students will be assessed through work based projects, report writing, case studies, presentations and end of module tests.
Entry Requirements
Students must have 1 A Level at grade C or National Diploma at PPM or equivalent supported by GCSEs. Life experiences are taken into account when considering applications.
Equipment and Materials
Students will need protective clothing and footwear.
