The following areas comprise research interests: sustainable agricultural production systems within the broader context of biodiversity and environmental sustainability, impacts of agri-environment schemes and rural policy with a focus on policy development and farmers' decision-making, agricultural tendancies, multi-functionality, and rural recreation and development.

Full-time study for UK/EU applicants in 2006/07 - £4000 pa; part-time £2000.
