Course Description
This course provides a stimulating and challenging practice based learning experience focusing on the creative skills and technical knowledge needed for a career in design and production of decorative printed surfaces. The credit-based framework provides specialist creative practice in surface design for fashion and furnishing textiles, wall coverings, ceramic tiles and ceramic ware, 3D surfaces, imprinted sports and leisure wear. Subjects studied include: drawing, digital imaging, print production including screen and digital printing, materials technology, imaging studies and cultural studies.
