Course Description
This course is designed for people who want to work with children in a school setting as a classroom assistant. The course focuses on teaching and learning, literacy and numeracy and planning activities for children. Learners will have to work in a school placement for 2 days a week as a volunteer. Learners must have a good standard of written and spoken English but will receive support in literacy, maths and IT skills. All work will be assessed in your work place. Advice, interview and assessment required.
