Have you ever been to a party or a wedding and looked at the cake and thought I wish I could do that - well this course will give you an insight into the wonderful world of Sugarcraft.  Come along and learn skills which will make your friends and family gasp in awe at your sugar creations.  

This is a practical class for beginners/improvers where you will have the opportunity to   learn many different aspects of Sugarcraft.  Over the course you will be introduced to many skills and a range of topics will be covered including :

• Cake design
• How to cover a cake with marzipan/sugarpaste  
• Making a spray of sugar flowers
• Sugar modelling
• Decorative Icing

Each week the tutor will demonstrate an element of sugarcraft and you will be able to try the techniques for youself.

You will have the opportunity to ask questions and gain hints and tips which you cannot learn from a book.

Items needed for the first lesson

Any sugarcraft equipment you may already have. (At the first lesson you will be provided with an equipment list for the rest of the course)
