Higher National Diploma in Media

Currently in my first year of the HND Media course, I am having a fantastic time at Stratford-upon-Avon College. Having studied A-levels in media, dance and drama, I decided that I wanted to embark on a higher education course in media. The course at Stratford-upon-Avon College is ideal for me as it is extremely practical and there is an extensive range of equipment available to students, including a television studio, Avid software, a new Apple Mac suite and much more. This course has presented me with some amazing opportunities. I have been involved with some filming work for the BBC and now have the chance to apply for work experience with them. In the second year of the HND, I will travel to New York to film a documentary as part of our film studies work.'

'Once I have completed the HND course, my plan is to go to university for a ‘top-up’ year to achieve a degree level qualification, with the ultimate aim of building a successful career in television or film production.'
