Course Description
A practical course aimed at small business owner/managers, or those who wish to start up in business, and who wish to understand the strategic planning process and how to develop and extend a business plan, taking into account the changing needs of businesses in today's fast moving environment. Topics covered will include business planning; market planning; competitive analysis; cash flow modelling; brand management; effective marketing techniques. The course will have the following objectives: To focus current activities into short, medium and long term strategies; To obtain an understanding of the elements of control within the business; To focus on key pressure points controlling the business; To develop a workable medium term plan; To be able to present this to external bodies.
