Course Description
The late Neolithic to early Bronze Age is known to us by its enduring monuments such as henges, stone and timber circles and burials. But who built them, how were they used, and what part did they play in people's lives? We will investigate some of the evidence from sites across Britain, with particular reference to the North West. There will be opportunities to discuss sites and their meaning.
