This course is suitable for anyone interested in arranging flowers and making natural decorations. The content will be suited to both beginners and those who wish to develop their knowledge and skills in contemporary seasonal designs. This one day course will involve short demonstrations of various floral and natural designs which would make beautiful seasonal gifts and/or decorations for Mum, family, friends, the home, work & public places. There is no qualification, this is a non-vocational course. A College Certificate may be issued upon request. Learners will observe several design ideas demonstrated, some of which may be practiced in the workshop, others will be inspiration to try at a later date. Learners will gain more confidence in working on the construction of both traditional and contemporary work. Both traditional and contemporary styles will be covered. Learners are free to choose which designs they will work on in the workshop session. Fresh, artificial and dried materials may be used. You will learn through demonstrations/discussions/observations/practice.
