Level 1: Practical skills of journalism; the reporting of sports events; background to sports policy; the sociology of sport; options: law for journalists. Level 2: Sports news writing; feature writing skills; sports broadcasting; sociological perspectives; editing and production techniques; work placement. Level 3: Focus on sports journalism specialism; journalism project; practical and theoretical options.

The pace of the course is very fine. First semester is basic so its easy but in the second semester it takes you to the deep end....more
taught modules were pretty good. But wish the course length is more so that there will more time spend with the lecturers. More learning....more
