Similar to our BSc (Hons) Sport and Exercise Science degree this route allows students to specialise in Sports Injuries; the most important person in any athlete's support team is the person who prevents and manages injuries; this course will teach students how to treat injured athletes by helping them to develop specialist skills and knowledge in the area of sports injury management; students will gain a broad understanding of sports science principles such as biomechanics and physiology but also a specialist knowledge of how to rehabilitate athletes; this course will provide you with the skills and knowledge to succeed if you have a passion for sport and exercise, whether as an athlete, coach or even as a spectator, and are keen to pursue a career in a sports-related area; students will benefit from our expertise in this area as well as our wide range of state of the art equipment; students will learn how to carry out a very wide range of procedures and use equipment involved in: exercise physiology; biomechanics; sports psychology; injury rehabilitation and coaching; the applied nature of this course encourages the development of skills that makes students more employable; students develop a wide range of employability skills such as: written; verbal and visual communication; IT; problem solving; research and team working.
