The degree explores the psychological factors that affect the behaviour of individuals, teams or organisations in sport, and how lifestyle issues can influence their wellbeing and performance.
Theoretical and research methods used in psychology with specific reference to the sporting environment; techniques which can enhance performance such as motivation and goal setting; physiological and psychological changes which are associated with mood and perception; opportunity to observe modern research, to understand how theoretical models can be refined, adapted or created; final year practical project.
