This course will give you the linguistic tools necessary for everyday medical practice. By the end of this course you should be able to ask and answer questions about personal details, symptoms and possible diagnoses, communicate for everyday professional purposes, achieve a basic intercultural awareness, to enable you to understand simple references to the most common aspects of the culture, everyday life and current issues in some of the many countries where Spanish is spoken. Collect information from a basic range of resources using a standard format and apply basic problem-solving methods as instructed.
