Southgate is the College for Everyone.

Southgate College welcomes students from all walks of life and all ages. With over 300 courses you can be sure that whether you are continuing your education want a fresh start or simply want to learn something new we can help you.

A wide range of courses available – We have a variety of courses including over 120 full time courses and around 180 part time courses, so you are guaranteed to find something to suit you. If you are not sure what you are looking for, our Information, Advice & Guidance Team will be happy to help you to decide.

Excellent academic and pastoral support – In addition to our dedicated teaching staff, we have a large team of other staff to support you in your studies, including our fully-trained Learning Advisors.

A friendly and sociable place to study – At Southgate, you can meet and mingle with other students and staff in our cafes, restaurants, student common room and other common areas, thanks to our highly sociable campus. You can also take part in a full Enrichment (extra-curricular activities) programme.

Sporting success – We are very proud of our nationally successful sports teams and many of our students, both past and present have gone on to great sporting successes, for example Southgate College student Simeon Williamson who competed in the 100 metres at the Beijing Olympics, after securing his place with a lifetime best of 10.03 seconds.
