South Thames College is a large Further Education College with several sites across South London. Its main campuses at Wandsworth and Merton have both been transformed by major redevelopment projects and provide a wonderful environment for learning. The College offers hundreds of full and part-time courses for school leavers and adult learners, attracting over 21,000 students each year.

Students can study Hairdressing, Business, Construction, Catering, Music, A Levels, Arts, Sports, Public Services, Health and Social Care, Design, Engineering, Motorcycle Mechanics and Childcare to name just a few.

Programmes are designed to prepare students for work in their chosen careers or progression to further study. Students are given the tools to achieve through hands on courses offering invaluable practical experience. The college also has great links with the business world.

Students at South Thames College was graded 'good' at its 2009 inspection. Facilities include hair and beauty salons that are open to the public, TV and radio studios, a student-run restaurant and music technology suites.
