South Thames College is a large, vocational, further education college in south London offering a range of exciting full- and part-time training programmes to meet the needs of learners from both London and further afield. Based across five sites in south-east London (in Wandsworth, Putney, Roehampton, Battersea and Tooting), over 21,000 students are educated each year.

The College is also a major training provider for local businesses; there is a dedicated Business Development Unit (BDU) which delivers practical training solutions tailored to meet the needs of employers.

South Thames College provides opportunities for students to study recognised courses in a number of subject areas, specialising in vocational training. There is a wide choice available, with study opportunities in health and social care, business and finance, performing arts, hairdressing, construction, photography, sports coaching, film-making and childcare to name but a few.

Programmes are designed to prepare students for work in their chosen careers or to progress onto further study. Students are given the tools to achieve through a range of hands-on courses offering invaluable practical experience.
