In the 1st year students take introduction to sociology and the sociology research workshop, together with 2 1/2-unit modules from psychology and another 30 credits from a wide range of options available in criminology, media studies and modern languages; psychology 1/2-unit modules include: cognitive approaches to mind and behaviour; history and theory in psychology; biological approaches to mind and behaviour; life-span psychology; in the 2nd year students take 2 core modules in sociology together with an additional option in sociology and two psychology half-options from: abnormal and differential psychology; cognitive psychology; development and social psychology; biological psychology; social psychology; in the 3rd year, students choose 2 options from sociology and 1 from a wide range available in psychology as well as a supervised research project in sociology.
