This course will give students an understanding of all four sectors: health, social care, the children's workforce and community justice. It will help them to learn the skills that are important to work successfully in areas such as problem solving, team-working, communication and creative thinking. It also focuses on the political, social and economic factors that affect the four sectors today.
Students should have 5 GCSEs at grade C or higher including Maths and English Language at grade C.

Very disappointed to be told 'again' that the course that I had been booked onto for ages at York College, and paid for, has yet again been cancelled the week before it was due to start. I am reluctant to ever relay on York College again ...more
