About this course

This workshop has been specially created to provide a great deal of useful information in a short amount of time. During the first half of the lesson you will be taught how to use the sewing machine, including:

thread-up
wind the bobbin
straight stitch, reverse (lock stitch)
corners and curves.

The second part of the lesson will be on a chosen theme. In this case, Hems and Casings. You will be taught how to create a perfect hem and make a simple elastic casing for a skirt, for example.

Please let the tutor know if you will not be using your own machine.
