The course enables students to progress to a PGCE in physics; practical skills sessions take place in order to enhance laboratory skills; this course is offered on a modular basis; applications must be made direct to the institution.
There are 7 themes: mechanics; electricity and magnetism; molecular theory; fields and waves; atomic, nuclear and fundamental particle physics; quanta and relativity;astronomy and cosmology.
