This course is offered on a non-modular basis; this secondary teacher training course leads to qualified teacher status (QTS) subject to satisfactory performance in skills tests; the course equips the student to teach design and technology with a focus on textiles in secondary schools; school placements are central to the course; students complete teaching placements in 2 11�16 or 11�18 schools; this enables the student to experience the progression from Key Stage 3 to 5; students have the opportunity to gain 60 Master's level credits, which they can use towards a Master's degree.
