The core of the Sculpture programmes research policy is to develop the broad range of individual excellence in the production of sculptural art practice and to further develop the research environment on a holistic level that aims to address and support a wide range of artistic, social and cultural activities that are relevant to its in-house expertise and its ambitions; this approach to art practice combines multicultural and cross-cultural interpretative work, science and new technologies, critical and historical reflection on theory and practice and innovative application of materials and processes.
