This course provides the means for the students to produce original outlines and scripts with support and know-how that they, as a writer, will require to conduct themselves intelligently and dynamically within the film and TV industry. Topics include: short film writing; feature film preparation and writing; group sessions; pitching; specialist screenwriting; one-to-one mentoring; reader reports; performance; on-set experience; copyright, legal and finance.
Applicants should submit written work prior to attending an interview, must be fluent in the English language (IELTS 6.5 or equivalent), have a degree or MA is useful but not mandatory and some practical experience in film production is desirable.
