My sales training course focuses on one key phrase, simplicity coupled with persuasion. Sales presentations need to excite, clearly demonstrate the solution and value to the organisation - don't get confused between benefits and features, always think what solution your product or service will do for the audience in question, if you've done your homework, you should know exactly which buttons to push. Because most sales training courses focus on formulaic patterns, many sales presentations typically fail miserably at the end with a weak pitiful close. The thought that you need to implant in the audiences mind is 'I want this product, what do I need to do next', so your close should tell them what the next steps are, a call to the future, a pilot programme or simply a signed commitment to get the process moving.
