Course Description
This course is aimed at those people who have an interest in bookkeeping who wish to enhance their career prospects by learning how to use a computerised accounting system; who have their own business and wish to enhance their knowledge of the processes necessary to keep their accounts on a computerised accounting system; who already use a computerised accounting system and wish to make better use of the package.

Assessment method
This course is portfolio based, with no formal examinations required. Demonstration of competence in all tasks will be accredited over a period of time to ensure that learners meet the requirements of the course criteria.
Entry Requirements
Whilst there are no formal entry requirements, students are expected to be competent in the use of a PC and should have competent keyboard skills. Learners should be familiar with the use of dropdown menus when using computer applications.

Venue Description
The College nursery is open Monday to Friday during term time. It is a purpose-built, open plan room, and also boasts an interactive and stimulating outdoor play area. The nursery can accommodate up to twenty children at any one time, from the age of two years up to their fifth birthday. All areas of the college offer good access to people with physical disabilities complemented by a comprehensive support service. The college provides facilities for students with hearing and visual impairment, students with learning difficulties, students whose main language is not English, guidance and advice service.
