About this course

This course is designed for participants who wish to gain an understanding of principles and practice of safe handling of medicines. It covers modules that include ordering of medicines, storage of medicines, homely remedies, how oral medicines work, refusal of medicines, controlled drugs, common side effects from medicines in the older service user, disposal of medicines confidentiality, confidentiality and competency in clinical practice.
