What Do You Learn?
Some languages go up to level 3 while others go to levels 4 and 5.  At every level, you will be speaking, reading, writing, and thinking in your new language, and much more.

Level 1:  Build a Foundation
Gain the confidence to master basic conversational skills, vocabulary, and structure.  Say hello and introduce yourself.  Ask questions, give answers, and make your way around the market.

Level 2:  Navigate your surroundings
As you build on Level 1 vocabulary, you’ll be able to talk about your environment, ask for directions, tell the time, and dine out.

Level 3:  Connect with the world around you
Expand your knowledge and learn to share your ideas and opinions, express your feelings, and talk about work, interests, and current events.

Level 4:  Deepen your understanding
Negotiate increasingly complex situations with confidence and accuracy.  Schedule appointments, find the perfect gift, or prepare a dinner party where you’ll be able to discuss arts and culture.

Level 5:  Develop true command of your new language
You’ll learn to express yourself more completely as you engage in social, political, cultural, and economic discussions, learn what to say in a health emergency, or deal with sudden schedule changes.
