Explore Rococo, Neoclassical, Impressionist and early Modernist art and discuss themes such as taste, patronage, exhibitions and the art market. This course covers the fine arts, including painting and sculpture, and also encompasses design, architecture and popular visual culture. Through a programme of lectures and close examination of important objects in the V&A’s collections, tr ace the complex changes taking place across the visual arts over this two hundred year period.
