With over £100 million invested in new facilities in the past decade, and with a further £115 million more planned in the coming years, RGU ranks as one of the most vibrant contemporary universities in the UK.
New facilities include the stunning Faculty of Health and Social Care and the new £11 million sports centre, RGU: Sport. With a student population of around 25,000, Aberdeen – Scotland's third largest city – plays host to an exhilarating social scene. What's on Offer
The university has three faculties: Design and Technology, Health and Social Care and the Aberdeen Business School. The vast majority of courses on offer provide work placement opportunities, are unit based and career-focused. Courses on offer range from Management, Accounting and Finance, Journalism and Law to Nursing, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy and Social Work, to Art and Design, Architecture, Computing and Engineering.
Impressive library facilities, available seven days a week during term time, are provided on both campuses. Each library provides journals, online databases, newspapers, internet and video materials and a range of software packages. RGU also has an award-winning Virtual Campus offering a cutting-edge online learning environment.
